Hero Certified Burger Stores Announcement

This is to inform you that ISNA Halal Certification Agency (HCA) is not certifying any of the Hero Certified Burger stores. Hero Certified Burger stores are buying only their Beef burgers from an HCA certified company, which is New Food Classics. If you see any letter from New Food Classics in Hero Certified Burger stores, that will only guarantee the supply of Beef burgers to be Halal, not the rest of the process. ISNA® Canada Certification for Ryding Regency Meat Packers Ltd. and St. Ann's Food Inc. withdrawn

This is to inform all Muslim Community members in Canada and the United States that Ryding Regency Meat Packers Ltd and St. Ann's Food Inc., are no longer certified by the ISNA® Halal Certification Agency. This is effective as of February 3, 2009.

ISNA® Canada Certification for AL-SAFA withdrawn

This is to inform all Muslim Community members in Canada and the United States that Al-Safa and its parent company, MGI Packers, are no longer certified by ISNA®-Canada. ISNA®-Canada had decided to withdraw its certification because of concerns that Al-Safa and MGI Packers were violating Halal standards required for certification by ISNA® Canada. The withdrawal of this certification was effective on August 20, 1999 Muslims in North America and especially in Canada are advised to check with the ISNA® Canada Headquarters office in Mississauga, ON before buying the products marketed by these companies.
